Morning hunts: 9-12 / Evening hunts: 1:30-4:30

Shady Knoll wishes to provide great opportunities for preserve hunting in a natural setting. Our fields provide great cover including Milo, corn stubble, natural grasses and pines. Our experienced guides and well-mannered dogs offer great help for a successful hunt.

European Pheasant Shoots

Our European style pheasant shoot provides an exciting challenge for ten to twenty-four shooters. The course has natural habitat and managed bird gardens centered among tall pine boarders. The shooters rotate ten to twelve times during the shoot to give each an advantage at all stations.

European Pheasant Shoots start at $250 per person, includes lunch and clay target warm up with a minimum of ten shooters and a maximum of 24 shooters. Ten birds are provided for each person.

Hunting Lodge

We offer a hunting lodge with two bedrooms and sleeping capacity of five persons for $50 per room. Dining area with a microwave, hotplate, and small electrical appliances are included.

Rules and Regulations

1. Gun safety is top priority

2. All game must be tagged before leaving the preserve

3. A $2,000 fee will be charged to the party in the event of an accident causing death or injury to our dogs

4. All hunters must have a valid N.C. Hunting or Preserve license

5. Parties will be limited to 4 hunters

6. We assume no liability for any accident and all hunters must sign liability forms before hunting

7. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed before or during a hunt

8. All hunters must wear blaze orange
